Regional honey producers will be excited about a new honey processing
facility being located at the Weston Farmer's Market. The $50,000 operation
was funded by the West Virginia Legislature.
Work is expected to begin within the next two weeks, including the
reinforcement of the building's floor.
Honey has to be extracted from the comb, heated and bottled for sale. The
honey plant in Weston will simplify the operation.
The Weston market is planning on opening a store for beekeeping supplies.
