| Willard Otto Smith, 95, of Normantown, West Virginia, departed this life on October 17, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Gilmer County to the late Grover and Dosha Beckett Smith.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Lenora (Jim) Baker of Myrtle Beach SC, Helen Spade and Brenda (Jim) Snider both of Normantown; one son, Dallas (Lois) James of Columbia Station Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Grover (Alice) Smith of Grafton Ohio, Arnold (Mary) Smith of Glenville WV and Walker Smith of Cedarville WV; 2 sisters, Doris Cooper and Virginia Walton both of Claremore OK.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Sumpter Smith and one sister, Varnie Fisher.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Carmel Church, Normantown, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard Westfall and Elder Larry Fisher will officiate. Interment will be in Upper Steer Run Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from noon-2 p.m.
Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, is assisting the Smith family with the service arrangements.
