Calhoun High School's Class of 1975, 35th year reunion was a success. "If you didn't get to attend you don't know what
you missed," said organizer Roberta Hartshorn.
Classmates met at the Homecoming
football game, Friday, October 1st, then visited at the home of Kenny and Debbie Arnold afterward.
Classmates met again Saturday at the Calhoun County
Park for lunch and dinner and lots of
reminiscing.
Those attending were, David Weaver,
Roberta Headley Hartshorn, Nancy Sims Ritchie and grandson Casey, Cecil and Tammy Shock Moore, Kenny and Debbie Laughlin Arnold, Kenny and Sherlene
Conley, Mary Ann Yoak and Randy Parsons, Rob and
Donna Starcher Reip, Ron and Susanne Reip,
Elizabeth Stull and Roy Parsons, Jennifer Helmick
and Larry Hall, Jimmy and Colleen Sullivan, James
(Tuti) and Doris Cain, Brenda Garrett Whipkey,
Sherry Moles Stewart.
Four additional classmates responded to the pre-reunion information and questionnaire but were
unable to attend.
Door prizes and ribbons were awarded to
attending classmates.
Between meals classmates visited, played
cornhole, set off balloons, showed classmates
spouses what it was like to belong to a great
class, the "still young and alive after 35 years."
The class plans to meet at the park again in 2015,
and will get together in 2013 to plan for that reunion.
Any classmates not attending are encouraged to
send in suggestions for the next reunion, such as
for food, gifts, prizes, games, and ways to get more
in attendance.
