Considered to be the original "adventure / romance" story, first
published in 1844 by
Alexander Dumas, "The Three Musketeers" has become the time-tested framework
with a track record that includes more than 50 film versions.
When these two nuns discover Three Musketeer Aramis wants to be
a monk, they immediately show their approval. Ryan Konarske
and Brittany Ferguson are the nuns. Aramis is played by Justin Church.
Likewise, much of our entertainment features similar characters
including: good guys,
bad guys, a beautiful villian, a hero, a love interest, traitors, an
arch enemy, etc ...

Wait ... not so fast. How many comedies have you seen with live sword-play.
Several cast members are veterans of the GSC stage including: Whitney
Stalnaker, Palmer Stephens, Ryan Konarske, Rose Johnson, Justin
Church, and Justin Blankenship.
Constance challenges D'Artagnan's sincerity by trying to stall his departure. He quickly wins her trust and they become worthy allies. Rose Johnson is Constance; D'Artagnan is played by Justin Blankenship.
Dennis Wemm in his 24th year directing stage productions holds down
two roles. This is Wemm's own adaptation of the play. Cast member
Palmer Stephens composed the original music.
"The Three Musketeers" will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday and
Friday. All students
of any age get in free; general admission charge for adults is $3. The
show is approximately two hours in length with one intermission.
