The Class of '75 held their 35th year reunion last weekend.
"If you didn't get to attend you don't know what
you missed," said Roberta Hartshorn, one of the organizers.
Classmates met at the homecoming
football game and went to Kenny & Debbie Arnold's
residence after the game. The class met last Saturday at the Calhoun County
Park for lunch/supper and lots of
reminiscing. Those attending were, David Weaver,
Roberta Headley Hartshorn, Nancy Sims Ritchie
(grandson Casey), Cecil & Tammy Shock Moore,
Kenny & Debbie Laughlin Arnold, Kenny & Sherlene
Conley, Mary Ann Yoak & Randy Parsons, Rob &
Donna Starcher Reip, Ron & Susanne Reip,
Elizabeth Stull & Roy Parsons, Jennifer Helmick
& Larry Hall, Jimmy & Colleen Sullivan, James
(Tuti) & Doris Cain, Brenda Garrett Whipkey,
Sherry Moles Stewart.
Four classmates responded, but were
unable to attend.
Door prizes and ribbons were given to
attending classmates.
In between meals, classmates visited, played
cornhole, set off balloons, showed classmate's
spouses what it was like to belong to a great
class that is still young and alive after 35 years.
"We plan on meeting at the park again in 2015,
but will get together in 2013 to plan for 2015," said Hartshorn.
Classmates are encouraged to
send in suggestions for the next reunion, she said.
