Chester F. Hall, 65, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, had been a patient at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital suffering from a long illness. After the long battle, he went home to be with Jesus on September 30, 2010. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
He was born in Braxton County a son of the late Okey and Nancy McCune Hall.
Surviving are two daughters, Shelly Mace (Jeff) of Arnoldsburg and Pebbles Kupfner (Phillip) of Walker, WV; three grandsons, Christopher and Evan Mace of Arnoldsburg and Dustin Kupfner of Walker; and one granddaughter, Cheyanne Kupfner of Walker; two sisters, Jean Yost of Cumberland, Ohio and Eloise White of Elizabeth, WV. Chester had several nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sampson Hall, and several brothers and sisters, Lester Hall, Cecil Hall, Grace Hall Cunningham, Genieve Hall Henderson, Delcie Hall Wayne, Essie Hall Skiera, Ivy Hall McCumbers, and Stella Hall.
In keeping with Chester's wishes, he was cremated and his ashes will be buried at Orma United Methodist Church Cemetery following services. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9th at Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church in Arnoldsburg with the Rev. Shelly Mace officiating.
