| Leslie N. Duckworth 63, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away September 23, 2010 after an extended illness.
He was born September 29, 1946 the son of the late Carl and Lucy Z. Duckworth.
He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Pipe Fitters Local 565 of Parkersburg WV, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, metal detecting, and taking long walks.
He is survived by his wife of 31 1/2 years Cindy Lowe Duckworth;
5 children, Lori Duckworth of Parkersburg WV, Miriah (Chad) Nolin of Mineral Wells WV, Micah Duckworth of Nashville TN, Les (Julia) Montgomery of Baltimore MD, Darren Duckworth of Parkersburg; 3 brothers, Marvin Duckworth of Bellville WV, Ronnie (Diane) Duckworth of Mineral Wells, Channing (Dicie) Duckworth of Fleming Ohio;
one sister-in-law Evelyn Duckworth; 5 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Duckworth; and one sister-in-law Virginia Duckworth.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday September 27 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with Pastor Mark Lowe and Pastor Dean Ash officiating. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday September 26 and Monday from 9 a.m. until time of the service.
