SHOTS FIRED AT HOUSE ON PINK ROAD - Police Quickly Responding, Minor Accident In Tipton Hollow |

State Police and the Calhoun Sheriff's Department were responding to a 911 call on Pink Road shortly before midnight Wednesday to a report of shots being fired. The caller told 911 "my landlord's son is shooting a gun," first into the air in the yard, but indicating one shot had been fired in the door of a residence. Police arrived on the scene very quickly. The incident happened about one mile up Pink Road, off US 33-119 near the Calhoun-Roane line. Shortly after 1 a.m. police had a male in custody. CAR CRASH A vehicle lost control and went into a ravine in Tipton Hollow, a rural area off Nobe Road Wednesday evening. No one was injured in the crash, which was reported at 5:36 p.m. Deputy Sheriff J. D. Smith investigated the accident. The Grantsville VFD responded to the scene.
