| Mary Louise Lynch James age 89 of Mineral Rd., Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 5:02 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010 at her residence following a 5 month illness.
She was born May 24, 1921 in Gilmer County a daughter of the late Alva Clarence and Ida Grace Killingsworth Lynch.
Mary Lou has been an active member of the Glenville Presbyterian Church for over 50 years of which she served as treasurer for 18 years. She retired as Director of the Gilmer Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service with 34 years of service.
Mary Lou is survived by a nephew John Lynch of Grayson, KY and 2 nieces, Susan Faulkner of Morgantown, WV and Peggy Engle of Ashland, KY. She also leaves her companion of 10 years Leamon Turner of Normantown and her devoted church family and special friends all who will sadly mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband James Reese being married 21 years and second husband Ewing James for 3 years. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Early Dale and Rondall "John" Lynch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Glenville Presbyterian Church with Rev. David Krum officiating. Burial will follow in the Otterbein Cemetery, Glenville. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Church on Monday.
