Sybil R. Nickell, 78, of South Charleston died April 11, 2002,
at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
She was born July 29, 1923, in Vicars, a daughter of the late
John F. and Tressie Velma Ellis Ryan. She was retired from
FMC with 43 years of service and attended the Bible Center
Church, Charleston.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Shelva Evans.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Lakin and Doreen Ryan of
Gandeeville; a nephew, Stewart Ryan of Gandeeville; two great-nieces, Amber
and Courtney Ryan; and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2002, at the Hunt
Cemetery near Gandeeville with the Rev. Peter Faulkner officiating. There will be
no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Hubbard Hospice
House in Charleston or the Bible Center Church, 1111 Oakhurst Drive,
Charleston.
