MCDOWELL STABBINGS - Two McDowell County men received stab wounds after an argument turned violent in Jolo.
Police said Robert Gauze, 39, of Asheboro, NC, and Ryan Rowe, 26, of Bradshaw, began arguing and likely stabbed each other.
Gauze and Rowe were taken to Welch Community Hospital.
LOGAN STABBING â
Jonathan Saul Jones, 22 of Logan, was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper T.D. Boggs for malicious wounding on July 31. He was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail.
The 911 center received a report of a malicious wounding incident. On arrival the trooper spoke with the victim, "who stated that the defendant, Jonathan Saul Jones had stabbed him with a knife on top of the head and face."
"The undersigned officer observed blood coming from the victim's head and face," the report states, noting that several witnesses also observed the wounds.
MULTIPLE STABBING IN LOGAN - In another incident, Dennis Richards, 65, of West Logan, was arrested by the WVSP for malicious wounding and domestic battery.
"Upon arrival on scene, the ... officer found two victims that had been stabbed," the report states.
"During a domestic altercation, the accused, Dennis A. Richards, struck his girlfriend multiple times and stabbed her. A relative of the victim tried to intervene and was stabbed as well."
BAR STABBINGS - Two people were hurt early Sunday after an argument at Tomahawks Bar and Grill in Jefferson .
Jordan Gibson, 23, of St. Albans told Kanawha County sheriff's deputies that he and his friends got into an argument.
Gibson, his wife and friends left just after midnight Sunday, but the argument turned physical in the parking lot, police said.
Gibson was stabbed in the back and received other minor injuries, while Angelo Miller, 31, of St. Albans received head lacerations, police said.
Gibson and Miller were treated and released from CAMC Teays Valley.
Police are looking for their attackers. |
