Cyclist received injuries when his
bike struck a deer, shown near roadway
A 64-year-old Grantsville man was injured Saturday afternoon at Big Bend after his motorcycle struck a deer crossing Route 5.
He was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System by Calhoun EMS, with injuries that did not appear to be critical.
The deer died beside the roadway.
It was the third cycle wreck in the county in three weeks.
The accident happened near the Brooksville Baptist Church.
The Grantsville VFD also responded to the incident. |
