Emily Thomas, a student at Calhoun Middle School won first place in the sixth grade division of the Young Writers Contest.
Her paper, entitled THE STORYTELLER will now be judged at the State level and she will attend the "Young
Writers Day" in Charleston on April 19.
She is the daughter of Charles and Earlene Thomas of Chloe. Her family and friends wish her all the best in the State
