Well-known Grantsville woman Joy Morgan Stevens, 80, has died at her Pine Creek Road residence after a struggle with cancer.
Joy was a descendant of West Virginia's first settler Morgan Morgan, and with her husband, the late Robert Stevens, made significant contributions with the recording of Calhoun history.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial will be in the Morgan Family Cemetery near Arnoldsburg. Visiting hours are from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
