Carl T. "Rob" Robertson, 74, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 24, 2010, in CAMC - Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was born September 29, 1935, at Washington, DC, a son of the late John and Mary Glenn Robertson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Robertson, four brothers, and one sister.
Rob was a 16-year resident of Roane County. He was retired after 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He had also worked in several restaurants in Pennsylvania. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Surviving relatives include his wife of 33 years, Sheila Robertson; children, Melvin J. Dent of Lockbourne, Ohio, Teresie A. Sanchez of Columbia, PA, Andrew P. Dent of Gap, PA, and Vincent M. Dent of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He has been cremated and there will be no visitation or service at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer.
