Jeanette Lea (Starcher) Mace graduated from the WVU School Of Nursing on May 15th a Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
She was enrolled through the GSC/WVUIT/WVU Joint Nursing program. While at Glenville State College she was GSCs Nursing Recipient in the Honors Convocation of 2008; a member of the Student Nurses Association throughout college: PIN (Pioneers In Nursing at GSC) and SNA (Student Nurses Association at WVUIT).
Mace was also inducted into Sigma Theta Tau: Alpha Rho Chapter (The International Honor Society of Nursing) in 2010; and graduated with Latin (Cum Laude) Honors.
While in college she worked at The Alumni Center at GSC from 2005-2008; Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ivydale in 2007 and Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Division in 2008. She is currently employed at CAMC General in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
Jeanette is the daughter of Janet Gherke of Grantsville and Danny Marks of Bull River. She is the stepdaughter of Craig Gherke also of Grantsville. Her family and friends congratulate her for her many accomplishments.
