WIFE SHOOTS HUSBAND - A Harrison County man is dead following a domestic dispute with his wife, Monday.
Ann Whiteman shot her husband Dan Whiteman in the stomach and chest at close range with a 9 MM pistol, according to police.
Police say the victim's 22-year-old son tried to resuscitate him until EMS arrived on scene.
Mrs. Whiteman was taken into custody.
WOMAN STABBED WITH SCREWDRIVER - A Cross Lanes woman, 37-year-old Lori Huffman, was stabbed in the stomach with a screwdriver as she was taking her garbage out, Thursday night.
The incident happened about midnight, when two men approached her, both fleeing down the highway, said police.
She was taken to CAMC with minor injuries.
STABBING AND HAMMER STRIKE - Kanawha deputies are investigating after one man was stabbed and another was struck with a hammer at a convenience store just outside Charleston, Sunday night.
The incident happened at the Go-Mart convenience store on Greenbrier Street.
The stabbing victim was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center's General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The victim who was struck with a hammer refused medical treatment.
The person who assaulted the two fled in a vehicle.
PRINCETON ROBBERY - Two Kanawha County men suspected of robbing two Princeton area pharmacies have been arrested.
The armed robberies happened at a Rite Aid and CVS pharmacy.
Randall Sniff, 18, and Christopher Chapman, 24, both of Hernshaw, were charged Sunday with multiple counts.
