| May Longfellow, 86, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.
She was born January 8, 1924, in Crosby, England a daughter of the late Robert and Edith Millicent Middleton Leatherbarrow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emett Earl Longfellow February 23, 1999; two sisters, Joan Kearns and Mollie Leatherbarrow; one brother, Robert Leatherbarrow.
She was a retired employee of Kellwood Corporation, Spencer.
Survivors include children, Blake Longfellow and Gail Henderson both of Montgomery, AL, Eileen Woods and Stuart Longfellow both of Spencer; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Longfellow has been cremated. There will be no service or visitation. Donations are preferred to any child in need.
