The Certified Public Accountant exam is one of the toughest tests ever.

The West Virginia Board of Accountancy has released the pass rate by WV colleges for the period April 1, 2004, to March 31, 2010.

During that time period, 708 candidates sat for the exam and 266 or 38 percent passed.
