MAN ARMED TO THE TEETH - William Allen Anderson, 45, A Charleston man was arrested with two guns following a disturbance at a house. He had two homemade bombs in his car, according to a criminal complaint.
Anderson had a shotgun hanging from his right shoulder in a sling and a handgun tucked into his pants when arrested.
a 911 caller noticed him walking up the street with a bulge under his coat and his hood pulled over his head, according to the complaint.
Anderson reportedly went onto a porch and issued some verbal orders.
Officers then noticed a suspicious item in Anderson's car. The Kanawha County Bomb Squad X-rayed the item, saying that it was an improvised explosive device, or IED.
Police say they found a second IED, with a fuse, black powder and ammunition, in Anderson's car.
He has been charged with brandishing, obstructing a police officer and two counts of illegally possessing a bomb.
STABBED IN NECK AT CHARLESTON BAR - James Brown has been arrested after a stabbing at a Charleston bar.
Police say Brown stabbed Adam Foster in the neck and chest with a knife at the Eight Below Bar.
Brown is facing a charge of malicious wounding.
MAN FIRES GUN INTO SIDEWALK - Wheeling Police said Shane Weisal was arrested after a disturbance in Warwood around 4 a.m. Sunday.
They say Weisal got into an altercation and fired a gun into the sidewalk in front of an individual.
Wheeling Police searched his residence and confiscated seven weapons, a mix of handguns and long guns.
VIENNA MAN HOLDS UP PORN STORE - A Vienna man reportedly robbed a local adult book store and then led officials on a chase.
He was arrested after his vehicle wrecked in Wood County.
Police said James Russell Morris was armed with a knife when he took an undisclosed amount of money from the Pioneer Book Store.
Officers arrested him for fleeing and eluding, driving under the influence, and armed robbery.
