James A. Law, 88, of Akron, Ohio, passed away at his home May 28, 2010.
He was born in Grantsville, W.Va., and lived his life in Akron, Ohio, where he retired in 1984 from Goodyear Aerospace and Goodyear Tire Research after 33 1/2 years. He attended The Chapel on Fir Hill, was a member of Eureka Lodge 40 F & AM in Grantsville and was a member of the Tadmor Temple.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Launa "Eddie"; and sister, Eva Langston of Hendersonville, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ronzel and Rymer Law.
Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 547 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio, with the Rev. Wes Hartsfield and the Rev. Joseph Law officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until service time. Private burial will be at Mt. Zion Chapel in Brohard, W.Va.
