Harvey "Jack" McFee, Jr., 85 of Elizabeth went home to be with his Lord, May 11, 2010 at Camden Clark Hospital.
He was born October 15, 1924 in Wirt County son of the late Harvey and Myrtle "Babe" McFee. He retired from E. I. DuPont; he was a veteran of World War II, belonged to VFW and American Legion; He was a member and officer of the Two Ripple Baptist Church.
Jack was always willing to help any person that was in need. For many years he always put the crosses on the courthouse lawn and flags on military graves at K of P Cemetery.
He is survived by one brother Harold McFee; one sister Evelyn (Roy) Hawkinberry both of Parkersburg, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Elizabeth Jane Fint McFee; one sister-in-law Betty Ann (Elliott) McFee.
The family would like to send a sincere thank you to Eagle Pointe Nursing Home for the care and support they expressed to Jack and the family.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 14 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home, Elizabeth, with Pastor Dean Ash officiating. Burial will be at K of P Cemetery. Friends and family may visit Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
