The Second Community Baby Shower was held Saturday, May 8th at Calhoun County Middle-High School sponsored by the Calhoun County Family Resource Network.
Twenty-four families were given the opportunity to view several displays from organizations including: Minnie Hamilton Health System, Calhoun Family Resource Network, Minnie's Rainbow Day Care, Project Linus, Calhoun County Library, Calhoun County Health Department, Domestic Abuse Response Team, Unicare, School Health Nurse, and Donna Richards, Community Dental Health, and Northern Rural Health Education Center.
Car seat checks were provided and the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Highway Safety Program provided free car seats for those new mothers in need.
The group would like to thank the following for gifts for the new mothers and their families: Calhoun Chronicle, Calhoun County Bank,
