New 3000 gallon tanker put in operation at Upper West Fork VFD
A new 3000 gallon tanker truck has just been delivered to the Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Department.
The addition of Unit 203 will improve the ability of the department to fight rural fires, added to 2000 gallons of water already being carried by the department's pumper trucks.
Fire Chief Randy Perkins said, "It will also help in aiding other fire departments by providing much needed water to fight fires in mutual aid areas in Calhoun as well as other counties." |
