Early voting was slow with only 245 voters casting their ballots by Friday, according to the Calhoun County Clerk's office.
During the last election cycle, over 600 Calhoun voters cast their ballots using early voting.
Polls will open bright and early at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday for the Primary Election. Polls close at 7:30 p.m.
During early voting, 211 Democrats, 33 Republicans and one non-partisan voted.
In Gilmer County, 348 voters, 285 Democrat, 39 Republican,
14 Independent and 10 Non Partisan ballots.
