CALHOUN WOMAN DIES IN NICUT ATV CRASH

A woman from upper Nicut died Tuesday afternoon after an ATV on which she was either a passenger or driver crashed over a steep 50-foot bank, landing in the creek.

Pearl Siers Wildman, about 64, reportedly died in a Calhoun EMS ambulance en route to be life-flighted from the Upper West Fork Park.

Rocky Dickey, about 54, received injuries in the crash and was life-flighted to Charleston Area Medical Center.

The nature of his injuries are not known.

The ATV was traveling on Nicut Route and made a turn past the old Nicut Post Office, losing control and crashing into the creek.

First responders said the woman was rescued from the creek.

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to the scene.

Wildman's body has been sent to the WV medical Examiners Office in Charleston.

Funeral services will be completed at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg.
