Ethel Boggs Starcher departed this life on March 28, 2002, in
Charleston General Hospital after a short illness.
She was born December 25, 1902, at Big Otter in Clay County, West Virginia a daughter of R.E.
Boggs and Elizabeth Cadle Boggs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Starcher; a son, John Edgar
Starcher; two grandsons, Jerry Starcher and Jack Starcher; four brothers, Abel
Boggs, Virgil Boggs, Roy Boggs and Barto Boggs; and two sisters, Ora Sears
and Lula Hicks.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Avis Starcher Moore and Don
Moore of Clay; one granddaughter, Vicki Moore Cunningham of Charleston, West Virginia;
three great-grandsons, Ryan Cunningham and Barry Cunningham of Charleston
and Matthew Starcher of Kingwood, West Virginia; one great-granddaughter, Courtney
Starcher of Kingwood; two sisters, Gusta Drake and Olga Postalwait.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2002, at Carl Wilson Funeral
Home Chapel, Clay, with Minister Darrell Mollohan officiating. Burial will follow
in the Hardman Cemetery, Nebo.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. |
