A Canton, Ohio man with Calhoun connections, Larry J. "Boomer" McDonald II, 23, died Thursday from injuries sustained in a dirt bike accident in Youngstown.
Larry was born in Canton, the son of Larry J. and Martha L. Fisher McDonald.
McDonald had attended the Choffin Career Center and was an avid dirt bike rider.
He is survived by his mother, Martha L. McDonald of Youngstown, Ohio; his father, Larry J. McDonald of Mt. Zion, West Virginia; two sisters, Tonya N. Hardy-McDonald of Youngstown and Crystal G. Swanson of Henderson, Nevada; a brother, Charles D. McDonald of Youngstown; nine uncles; an aunt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda J. McDonald.
Private services were held at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
