The Wood County Beef Cattle Improvement Association is conducting the annual Ohio Valley Beef Spectacular on Saturday, June 5 at the Wood County 4-H Campgrounds on Butcher Bend Road in Mineral Wells, WV.
This event features an Open 4-H & FFA Heifer and Steer Review that provides 4-H and FFA youth, who are taking a beef project the opportunity to show their animal and a chance at over $700 in cash prizes.
There will also be a showmanship contest. 4-H and FFA members are eligible from Wood County and the surrounding area. Registration fees are $10.00 per head. Pre-registration deadline is set for Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
