David Heath Herrington, 22, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, went to walk with the Lord Saturday, April 24, 2010.
He was born September 30, 1987 in Wood County, the son of David and Rebecca (Ward) Herrington.
He was a 2009 graduate of Wirt County High School. He loved going to school, riding the school bus and watching the deer. Heath loved being around people, he was always happy, and was a blessing to all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Celena Herrington of Parkersburg and Lacey Herrington of Elizabeth; one stepsister, Dava Pettry of Parkersburg; paternal grandparent, Leveda (Jack) Wright of Elizabeth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Arlen Herrington, both maternal grandparents, Olen and Helen Ward.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 29 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with the Rev John Price officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. till time of the service on Thursday.
Interment will be at Beulah Hill Cemetery.
