| Sarah Elizabeth Salsbury, 16, of Elizabeth West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Rainbow Children's Hospital In Cleveland Ohio, after an extended illness.
Sarah was born May 10, 1993 in Painesville, Ohio the daughter of Jeffery and Sherry (Whited) Salsbury.
Sarah was a sophomore at Wirt County High School.
She is survived by her parents and one sister, Heather Salsbury all of Elizabeth; her paternal grandparents, Blair and Wanda Salsbury of Mineral Wells WV; maternal grandmother, Garnet Whited Of Elizabeth; and paternal great grandmother, Mary Pettry of Elizabeth; 7 aunts and uncles, Blair Jr. And Sharon Salsbury of Painesville OH, Mark and Christine Salsbury of Parma OH,
Steven and (Selina Carter) Salsbury, Donald and Kimberly, Mike and Chriss Whited, Terry and (Luann Frazier) Whited, all of Elizabeth, and Teresa Pettry of Cleveland OH.
Sarah loved spending time with her family and friends, singing and dancing. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Whited; and 2 uncles, Lloyd "Pete" Pettry and Gregory Whited.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with Rev. Dean Ash and Rev. Lee Williams officiating.
Visitation will be Friday April 23 from 1 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday.
Interment will be at Two Runs Cemetery in Palestine, WV.
