Title I teachers, Shirley Chenoweth and Tami Allen, would like to thank our students, parents, and community members for their support of our recently held Spring Book Fair. We earned $1020 in profit to help us purchase books for our students, library, and classrooms. We would like to thank Speedy Mart, The Y Restaurant, and John's Hardware in Chloe for allowing us to place collection containers in their establishments. We would also like to thank those who volunteered to work at the fair.
AES students and staff are working hard this week to beautify our school and show our community how proud we are of it. As part of the West Virginia Make It Shine initiative, AES will be cleaning up debris, working on outside landscaping projects, and doing some inside spring cleaning.
Upcoming Events:
April 20th at 6:00 p.m - LSIC Board Meeting at AES
April 23rd at 8:30 a.m - Parent Workshop - "Helping Your Child with Writing" presented by Amanda Harsh from the WV Parents Connection
