First, we would like to extend our sympathy to the Riffle family. We will be keeping you in our hearts and prayers.
The boys had a great time during spring break, but, they will be returning to reality on Monday.
The crew took a short trip to Wheeling, St. Clairesville and the Amish country on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We had a good time and especially enjoyed the trip to Cabela's. I'm not all that into camping and fishing, but, that place is simply amazing. They have a huge aquarium, animals that were amazing, and even a shooting gallery for any age. It was really fun, even for me. Cabela's is very similar to Bass Pro in Myrtle Beach. That is a great store to go to as well.
We went to Amish country on Saturday. It was perfect weather for that part of our trip. The temperatures were great and some of the Amish people were out doing farm work and selling baskets. I never purchase anything that hasn't been made in that area. There are too many of those country stores there that sell stuff that were ordered from a catalog or not even made in America. That's not the true blue stuff I'm going to pay money for. We did hit an antique shop that took us down memory lane. I think every one of my sentences started with, "My Grandma had that." I like to collect old tins that had coffee, spices, and cooking ingredients in them. I found a lot of those at really good prices. So, I recommend those little places to visit if you have a few days.
Happy birthday goes out to Sharon Taylor and Chrystal Daniels. We hope they are the best ever! May you both have much happiness throughout the year.
I'm working on planting my flower gardens. I'm not sure if I will have time to get everything the way I want it. But, I am making sure the sunflowers get in the ground. I didn't plant any last year and I missed them a lot.
We will be making some changes in our shop. We are in the process of painting and adding a fresh new look for the place. Stop by and check it out. We are really excited about the changes.
Have you been watching Idol? Yes, of course I am. I have become a huge fan of Lee Dewyze. I think it will come down to he and Chrystal Bowersox in the end. We will see how it all unfolds week by week.
