| Argil Roger (Ike) Swisher, 86, of Macfarlan, West Virginia, died April 8, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston.
He was born in Macfarlan, August 8, 1923 the son of the late Bert and Nancy Lanham Swisher. He retired from the oil field.
He is survived by one sister, Essa Swisher of Macfarlan; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Florence Swisher and Sheena Swisher Pettit.
In addition to his parents, Ike was preceded in death by six brothers, Basil, Toney, Russell, Troxel, Charles and Earnie; and three sisters, Oklyn, Gladys and Esther.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 11 at Macfarlan Community Church with Rev. Charlene Spaur officiating. Burial will follow in the Swisher Cemetery, near Cisco.
Friends may call at Raiguel Funeral Home, Saturday from 4-6 p.m. and Sunday one hour prior to services at the church. |
