| Martha Ellen Brown Sims Jones, 90, of Macfarlan, West Virginia, formerly of Granville, Ohio, passed away February 24, 2010 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg WV.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville WV with Rev. Alfred Hickman officiating.
Martha was born November 23, 1919 in Utica Ohio, to the late John and Ruth Tewell Brown.
She graduated with the class of 1937 from Homer High School, Homer Ohio. She retired from Denison University in the 1980s as a housekeeper.
Martha is survived by a sister, Dorothy Brown Troyer of Utica; several nieces and nephews; and one special friend, Howard "Hawk" Hawkins of Macfarlan.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, J. Allen Sims; her second husband, Franklin D. Jones; brothers, Robert and Joseph Brown; and sister, Sara Edwards.
Burial will be at Saunders Cemetery, Big Springs, WV.
