| Ronald M. Hinton, Sr., of Grantsville, West Virginia, died March 18, 2010 in his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was born to Walter M. Hinton and Betty M. Harmotta in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he worked for the City of Euclid for 41 years, before retiring to Grantsville.
He is survived by his mother, Betty of Mentor Ohio; wife, Donna of Grantsville; children, Regina (James) Ball also of Grantsville, Ronald Jr., of Cleveland, Walter (Shannon) of Wickliffe Ohio, and Dewayne of Cleveland; grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Raymond Davis, and James Ball of Grantsville, Rhonda and Rachel Ball, Rebeca (Chris) Vrable of Monteville Ohio, Miranda McCallon, Bailey and Spencer Hinton of Wickliffe, Chandler and Wyatt Hinton of Willoughby Ohio; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Greg (Donna) of Eastlake Ohio; sister, Phyllis (Paul) of Mentor; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter M. Hinton.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
