| Glenn E. Starcher, 68, of Reedy, W.Va., died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Eldercare in Ripley after an extended illness.
He was born August 27, 1941 at Rocksdale in Calhoun County, a son of the late Denvil and Bertie Starcher.
He was a retired oil field worker and a member of Reedy Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jeanie Starcher; a son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Lisa Starcher of Mineral Wells; brothers, Denvil Jr. (Judy) of Elizabeth and Arnold (Janie) Starcher of Tampa, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dean.
There will be a memorial service 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 9 at Gilboa Baptist Church.
Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, assisted the Starcher family with the service arrangements.
