The Grantsville Guppies 4-H Club held meetings in January and February.
Each meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H Pledge.
Club members are learning about 4-H and
trying to learn 4-H songs.
In January the club held two poster workshops
and all members finished a poster for the county
4-H poster contest.
Each member was also given
their project books and a project workshop will
be scheduled for March or April.
Jacob McCumbers, a member of the Grantsville Volunteer Fire
Department, was guest speaker for the February meeting. He spoke about fire safety in the
home and the importance of having an evacuation
plan in case of fire.
Members are planning a
Dip-and-Donate, bean and cornbread dinner for April
10th, to raise money for 4-H camp.
The group is also saving plastic bottles for their
recycling project.
Members are, Mercedes Ferrell, Brogan
Richards, Haley Wilson, Jasmine Nicholson,
