| B. E. "Bud" West, 92, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Roane General Hospital,
Spencer.
He was born June 1, 1917 at Walton, a son of the late Holly and Rebecca Hunt West. He was a retired truck driver with the WV DOH and was an avid deer hunter.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Teddy and Kathy West , Donnie and Vickie West, all of Spencer, Ronald and special daughter-in-law, Carol West, of Leroy; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat Hersman, Charlotte and Fred Harper, Shirley and Warren Midcap, Earlene and Roger Simons, Doris and Ronnie Scott, Bobbie and Steve Anderson, all of Spencer, Myrtle and Ronnie Badgett of Arnoldsburg; 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Gay Harris West on September 15, 1990; daughter, Cathy Sue McDonald, two grandsons, one granddaughter, one brother, one half-brother, one sister, and two half-sisters.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. John E. Meadows officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Saturday.
