Calhoun Middle School girls hosted Gilmer County Monday evening and lost in a close game 23-22.

Calhoun scorers were Shayla Arnold 4-0-2-9 pts (1-3 pointer); Autumn Smith 6-1-2-13 pts.
Calhoun hosted Clay on Thursday, Feb. 4 and lost 42-18.
Calhoun  5-2-7-4 = 18 pts
Clay  6-12-10-14 = 42 pts
Calhoun scorers were, Bailie Cain - 2-1-3-5 pts; Shayla Arnold 4-0-4-8 pts; Sam Harris 1-0-0-3 pts (1-3 pointer); Autumn Smith 1-0-0-2 pts.
Calhoun will play at Wirt on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Spencer on Wednesday, Feb. 10, and at Home vs Doddridge on Thursday, Feb. 11 which is 8th grade night, the last home ballgame.
