8:30 PM - Calhoun and regional highways are very hazardous.
The highway department began salting the main roads in late afternoon, and crews are out in force.
The main roads are now covered with wet, slippery snow.
Most secondary roads accumulated a sheet of ice before snow began falling about 7 p.m.
While Calhoun is under a flood watch advisory, a check on the Little Kanawha River and the West Fork does not indicate a major flood problem.
The streams are out of their banks, but do not appear to be rapidly rising.
