Four Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center students, Brandon Reed, Cody McCoy, Jarrod Claypool, and Nathan Summers, recently passed their West Virginia state certification in plate welding.
Drew Williams (pictured above) also passed the 6G pipe test, making this his second certification. Williams received certification in stick welding on plate, earlier this year.
"I want to recognize the students efforts, because they have worked very hard to achieve this goal...I want them and their families to know that I am very proud of them," said Welding Technology Instructor, Carl Collins.
