| Wilford M. Hardman, 76, of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away January 29, 2010 at Miletree Center in Spencer following a long illness.
He was born in Gilmer County January 9, 1934, a son of the late Alfred and Ruby P. Wilcox Hardman.
Surviving are four children, Edward M. (Millie) Hardman of Monongahela PA; Lena K. Whipkey, with whom he made his home and Carolyn S. (Steven) Cunningham all of Grantsville; and Rose M. Frederick of Harrisville; five brothers, Alfred, James, Roger, Guy and William Hardman; one sister, Edith Hardman; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 3 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Kevin Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Turner Cemetery at Lockney.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral.
