| Victor G. Perkins, age 73 of Buckhannon, West Virginia departed this life at 11:20 p.m. Monday January 18, 2010 in the Holbrook Nursing home following an extended illness.
He was born September 4, 1936 in Braxton County, a son of the late W. G. "Bill" and Clara Rose Perkins.
Vic enjoyed the outdoors with special emphasis on hunting and fishing. He was also a Methodist by faith.
Victor was united in marriage to Brenda Benson who preceded him in death in 1999.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Dannette Perkins of Buckhannon; several nieces, nephews, and friend Iva Curtis and her family.
Mr. Perkins is the last of his immediate family being preceded in death by 4 brothers, Dennis, Jim, Gene, and Richard, Perkins; 2 sisters, Genieve Perkins and Ora Frame.
Funeral services were conducted January 21 with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery, Chapel WV.
