| Geneva Ellen Bennett Husk, 92, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville, January 7, 2010.
She was born March 12, 1917 in Grantsville, a daughter of the late Elza and Mary Jane Harris Bennett. She worked for W.B. Gibson of Grantsville for 38 years.
She is survived by, Ray Wade of Akron, Ohio her son from her first marriage to Herbert Wade; daughter, Wilma Jane Husk Bell from her second marriage to Charles G. Buck Bell; stepson, Howard Dale Husk of Akron; stepdaughter, Deloris McCartney Davis of East Liverpool, Ohio; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents and husbands by a son from her second marriage, Robert Eugene Husk; stepson, Gilbert William Husk; sisters, Edna Husk, Geneve Collins, Pauline Hornbeck, Ivelean Richards, and Elenore Mills; brothers, Cay Bennett and Holly Golden (Bud) Bennett.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, January 14 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery, Mt. Zion WV.
Visitation will be held Thursday from noon until time of service at the funeral home. |
