Cyrus A. Freeman, 61, of Brooklyn, Ohio, died Friday, January 8, 2010, at his home.
He was born March 15, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Robert and Minnie Helper Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Prosowski Freeman; maternal grandparents, Cyrus and Zubie Taylor Helper.
Cyrus was a truck driver and an Army veteran.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Cyrus A. and Dawn Freeman, Jr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorine and Jim Foster & Beth and John Jonas; aunt, Clara Carper of Walton, WV; four grandchildren, Justin, Jesse, Samantha and Sara; and dear companion, Carol Bodkin.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, WV, with the Rev. Daniel R. "Danny" Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Hubbard Cemetery, Walton.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
