| Nadene V. Taylor, 87, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, in the Miletree Center, Spencer.
She was born July 11, 1922, in Spencer, a daughter of the late Lacy and Ida Sleeth Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Taylor; a daughter, Ellen Virginia Taylor; a brother, Sidney Smith; sisters, Flo Hersman, Lucille Shuman, Azelene Smith and Phyllis Smith.
She was a co-owner of Taylor's Upholstery and Fabric Shop, Spencer. She was a member of the Love and Kindness Church, Spencer.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Robert Bates of Spencer; grandchildren, Melissa McIntyre of Ocoee, Florida and Michael McIntyre of Parkersburg; a great grandson, Nathan McIntyre.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Ministers Toby Wagoner and Kathryn Truss officiating. Burial will be in the Hodam Chapel Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call Saturday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
