Nona Mae Maze of Columbus, Ohio formerly of Munday, West Virginia was promoted to glory January 4th.
She was born June 19th, 1915 in Industry, West Virginia to Sampson and Hazel Rose. Nona was a retired teacher's aid, loving mother, and sweet and gentle woman. She would share a laugh with any who would join her. She loved to garden, bake bread and make cereal candy for everyone at Christmas.
Nona is survived by two children, Roger (Martha Helen) Maze of Limestone, Tennessee and Naomi Karen Richard of Green Sea, South Carolina; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and a few great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband Clarence Maze, siblings Oscar, Ross, and Lucille, and four of her children, Blaine Maze, Clarence Maze Jr., Betty Krugman, and Connie Lahman.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 9 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. William Law will officiate. Interment will be at the Maze Cemetery at Munday.
Friends may visit Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12-noon.
