| Betty L. Perry, 80, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Friday, December 25, 2009 in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
She was born August 26, 1929 in Kentucky, a daughter of the late Lemuel Francis and Georgie Starcher Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Walter Lee Perry.
Mrs. Perry was a retired nurse's aid, a Christian and a woman devoted to her family.
Survivors include four children, David Boggs of Phoenix, AZ, Wanda Boggs of Spencer, Chester Lee Boggs of Buena Park, CA and Kay Anderson of Ripley; a brother, Lemuel Anderson, Jr. of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Burial will be, private and at the convenience of the family, in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, Leatherbark.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
