| The power company website says about 700 Calhoun citizens are without power, saying that some of them will be restored by 11 p.m. Christmas Eve.
The counties with the highest percentage of customers without power continued to be Clay and Roane counties.
Nearly 73 percent, or 1,565 of Clay County's 2,153 customers were without power, as were 59 percent, or 1,413 in Roane County.
Unfortunately, a number of households will be without power over the holidays, even with 24-hour efforts to get service up and running.
